In 2006 while pregnant, the idea for Sparrow was born out of the need to bring meaningful,eco-friendly,
well designed baby and childrens gear to my local neighborhood.
I had looked for what I liked ,wanted and needed and it could'nt be found,so I decided to do something about it.
Together with my husband Brian, we opened Sparrow with a small well edited selection of
clothing, toys and unique furniture pieces.
We hope to spread our positive message of sustainable business practices,
recycling,re-using,and re-ducing whenever possible.
At Sparrow we believe parents with their kids, can begin life green!

Wanting to make a difference and help bring about change in the way people manufacture and consume goods was one of the goals Terrie envisioned for Sparrow.
Terrie hopes to inspire her children Ethan and Amelia to bring about the change,however small,
they want to see in the world.
